Parent Feedback

Staying Connected with Alena

My name is Alena Swinbourne, and I recently joined the team at Forestville Montessori School as the Stakeholder and School Relations Coordinator. My role involves managing the new and current enrolments at the school, taking new families on school tours and responding to any enquiries about the school. In addition, I will also be working on promoting the benefits of FMS to the community with the aim of increasing enrolments over the coming years. I am really excited about joining FMS and I can’t wait to contribute my part to the recent marketing efforts here.

I come to you with more than 14 years experience in marketing, having worked mainly in the Australian horticulture industry. On a personal note, I am currently studying Nutrition which not only aligns with my interest in health and wellness but is also very beneficial given I have a young (hungry!) family, the extra knowledge I am gaining in my course definitely comes in handy!

In this edition of InFocus, I wanted to share the results of the recent parent research with you all. Towards the end of 2017, 50% of families at FMS gave us their thoughts on how the school is currently performing. The results not only provided us with some extremely positive feedback but also highlighted some areas that need improving. We have taken on board your comments and are currently implementing activities which will result in positive change over the coming months.

Following is a snapshot of the feedback we received.
