5th - 7th October 2018
Please put it in your diary and book yourselves in!
Let’s get as many families coming as we can!

Discovering Magical Maths

Friday October 5th for 2 nights

For those of you who haven't been to Glenworth Valley, it is literally an hour door-to-door. There are warm showers and proper toilets, a few sinks and that is that. You can have camp fires, (one of the highlights) there is a creek for the kids to play in, if you have a kayak you can bring that. There is horse riding, quad biking, laser skirmish, kayaking. You can choose to do any or none of the activities. If you do book an activity you do get a discount off your camping fees.

It does get quite cold there at night time, so it is important to come prepared for colder nights. The idea is that there are no electronics (very limited mobile reception, another highlight!).

Marshmallow sticks become prized possessions!

If you really aren't into camping then you can also just pop up for the day, but I have to admit that spending some time up at Glenworth Valley has endeared camping to those who thought they would never like it. You can hire a tent, though this is quite expensive – if you want to give camping a go you could probably borrow or even rent gear from people on Gumtree.

Social Events are Parent-Arranged Activities and not the responsibility of the School

When you book, select the “Camping at Glenworth Valley - 2 nights” option. Please mention in the notes that you are part of the Forestville Montessori School group, under “Skipper” booking in Mill Paddock.

Be lovely to see you there! Happy to answer any questions (if I can).
