Before and after school care is available for pre-school and primary children from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Mon-Fri during term time.
After school care is also available for children in the FMS Toddler program. Before and After school care are offered at an additional cost, the fees for which can be views on our current Fee Schedule (available for download here).
Vacation Care
Vacation Care is available to FMS families at an extra cost, based on the days attending.
Vacation care is currently offered over 3 days (Tues/Wed/Thurs) from 8:30am – 5:30pm during each school holiday block. You can see the scheduled vacation care dates for the year in advance on our Calendar of Events.
Vacation Care at FMS offers a range of activities and incursions for children to enjoy during their holidays. To date, these have included cooking activities, science-based programs, magic shows, animal shows and more.
A list of dates and activities is published for booking at least two weeks prior to each school holiday period.

After-School Activities
At Forestville Montessori School, we like to support our children beyond school and beyond their academic education. We strive to provide families with options and extras that continue the growth, development and social elements of children’s learning – even after school!
Through partnering with various local activity providers, we are proud to offer children and families the following after school activities on site (before) and after school.
- Private Music lessons for children aged 3+: Piano or Violin – 30mins
- Soccer for children aged 4-12
- Mandarin lessons: two class options for native and non-native speakers
- Chess Club (available free of charge to FMS primary students)
- Lego & Robotics – TBA for 2025
Note: These activities are provided on site but are non-school activities. Costs and payments are made directly to each provider).
